Asahi Beer Swings for Sustainability with Tumblers

Asahi Beer has embarked on an innovative initiative to tackle plastic waste by developing a special tumbler made from repurposed bats used by the Hawks baseball players. Dubbed “Mori no Tumbler,” this eco-friendly wooden cup is crafted in part from bats that were once wielded by Hawks players but have since broken. Asahi Beer currently uses approximately 10,000 plastic cups per game at the PayPay Dome, but the company is now encouraging consumers to embrace the reusability of these tumblers in an effort to reduce waste. The Mori no Tumbler will make its debut during the opening three-game series starting March 31st, available for purchase as part of a limited-edition beer set. As an added incentive, customers who bring their tumblers to future games will receive a 100 yen discount on their beer purchases. Source: Asahi
