Nagasaki Allocates ¥6 Billion for Health and Education Upgrades

Nagasaki Prefecture has unveiled a supplementary budget of ¥6.83 billion for June 2024, focusing on strengthening medical facilities against emerging infectious diseases. The budget includes ¥2.32 billion for the creation of private hospital rooms and converting shared rooms into private ones. Additionally, ¥1.29 billion is allocated to enhance ICT-based education in prefectural high schools. The total general account budget after this supplement stands at ¥735.53 billion.
