On May 25, Fukuoka City announced that it will cooperate with a venture support facility in San Francisco, who will provide information to Fukuoka’s startups through the Startup Cafe. Silicon Valley, the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area, is home not only to high-profile tech companies but to thousands of startups. The City hopes that this new connection will create opportunities for information exchange and networking, and that Fukuokan startups will be able take part in business events and product exhibitions. This venture support facility will be managed by btrax (based in California). Interested parties should visit the Startup Cafe and consult with the cafe staff, who will put you in contact with someone who can help at btrax. These consultations will generally be free.
