The Essence of Noh – An Evening of Dance and Music

The Hakata Machiya Folk Museum will be offering free admission during the Hakata Light Up Walk 2018, an event that sees local shrines and temples illuminated. Noh theater will be performed live inside the venue, which recreates what Hakata life looked like during the Meiji and Taisho eras. Visitors will be treated to performances of noh dance accompanied by various types of drums and flutes.
