Now in its 10th year, approximately 200 companies from Okawa City will exhibit and sell over 10,000 pieces of furnishings of all sizes at bargain prices. Okawa City has a history of over 480 years in furniture making, and furniture marked “made in Okawa” is surely topnotch. Some of the pieces on display will be special collaborations with Okawa creators by Kyushu Sangyo University and Kindai University as well as Hasamiyaki ceramics and Takaoka iron casting. The Kyushu Creators Market will also be held next door with original woodwork products on sale. Lectures and workshops on woodworking, food booths and more, too!
