Requests for shorter restaurant operation hours will likely end in Fukuoka Prefecture. Prefectural governor Seitaro Hattori recently told a press conference that the decreasing number of infections and the improved medical situation makes the region ready to lift the ‘mann-enn boushi to juten sochi’ COVID-19 control measures as scheduled on Jul 11. Business regulations for eateries will be canceled from then. Efforts to prevent the new coronavirus infections by avoiding dining in large groups and following other anti-infection measures will be encouraged. Source: RKB / NHK
