Vietnamese Man Arrested For Imari Murder-Robbery

A 24-year-old Vietnamese technical intern has been arrested for a fatal home invasion in Imari City, Saga Prefecture. Dam Duy Khanh is suspected of entering a home on July 27, threatening Japanese language teacher Maiko Mukumoto, 40, with a knife, stealing ¥11,000, and fatally stabbing her. He has denied the charges. Police believe he remained in a nearby dormitory—within walking distance of the crime scene—until he agreed to go with investigators. Authorities are now investigating the motive and his movements after the attack. Source: KBC
