South Korean low-cost carrier T’way Air announced that it will launch a new route between Fukuoka and Jeju on December 20, with four round-trip flights per week planned. With the addition of the Jeju service, T’way Air’s routes at Fukuoka Airport will expand to five, including existing services to Seoul (Incheon), Busan, Cheongju, and Daegu. The Fukuoka–Jeju route was previously operated by Jeju Air until January 2020, after which direct flights between the two cities were suspended. The resumption of direct service after nearly six years is expected to increase exchanges of people between the two cities. Source: FIBA
