Omi Japan To Train Healthcare IT Talent

Tokyo-based system developer Omi Japan will establish a training hub in Fukuoka City to develop 300 IT professionals specializing in healthcare systems by 2030. The facility, set to open on March 20, will train participants in system development tailored to clinical settings while supporting certification as medical information engineers. The role requires knowledge of hospital workflows, data management, and medical ethics, reflecting growing demand for IT professionals with healthcare expertise. Medical systems must accurately manage patient data and remain user-friendly for healthcare workers while ensuring strict data protection. Omi Japan, the Japanese arm of Vietnam-based OmiGroup, expects its domestic revenue to reach ¥2.73 billion for the fiscal year ending January 2026. Source: Omi Japan / Nikkei
