StarFlyer is testing B5 biodiesel in ground vehicles at Kitakyushu Airport through February 2027. The fuel blends regular diesel with 5% biodiesel made from used cooking oil collected in the city. According to the report, it reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.6 kilograms per 20 liters compared with regular diesel. It also costs about 30% more. StarFlyer is considering using the fuel in additional ground-support vehicles. Source: TVQ News / RKB News
