Fukuoka opened a municipal skateboarding facility at Boat Race Fukuoka in Chuo Ward on Oct. 30. At approximately 3,000 square meters, it is described as one of Japan’s largest indoor facilities of its kind. Both its street and park courses meet standards for international competitions. Olympic gold medalists including Sakura Yosozumi, Momiji Nishiya, and Coco Yoshizawa performed at the opening. Admission costs 500 yen for adults and 100 yen for high school students and younger, with free playground facilities nearby. Source: NHK News / KBC News
