JP Morgan Chase to Establish Presence in Fukuoka
JP Morgan Asset Management, an affiliate of JP Morgan Chase of the United States, one of the world’s largest financial services companies, will open a branch in Fukuoka City, perhaps as early as February, informed sources say. It would be the first entry of the JP Morgan Group in Kyushu, and their third branch in Japan. The move is seen as part of the company’s strategy to expand their assets in Asia with the rebound from the 2008 global financial crisis.
