JR Soliciting Designs for Hakata Station Tile Art
JR Kyushu is soliciting designs for the ceramic tile art that will decorate the interior walls of the new Hakata Station building to open in 2011. Participants will be able to submit illustrations based on one of four themes: flowers, birds, fish, and leaves. The designs selected will be baked into Arita ceramic tiles for the walls and columns. Applications are open until September 26.
