Halal Trade Fair to be Held in Fukuoka City
A trade fair featuring food products produced in accordance with halal dietary regulations will be held next February in Fukuoka City, the Nishinippon Shimbun reported. The objective is to boost exports of those products to Islamic countries enjoying strong economic growth, and to create sales channels in Japan for the increasing number of Islamic residents. According to JETRO, this will be the first halal trade fair held in the country.
