Megasolar School Popular with Students
Kitakyushu City-based Shibaura Holdings opened the first large school in the nation in Omuta in March for training technicians to build megasolar power plants. They’ve been pleased to discover that student enrollment was greater than expected, the Nishinippon Shimbun reports. This has been spurred in part by private sector construction companies looking for new enterprises with the decline in public works projects.
