Here’s another SWEET weekend activity idea! In 2006 “Blueberry Garden Ito” opened in Tomari, Itoshima. Itoshima is famous for delicious strawberries, but here you can pick blueberries! There are about 360 pots of blueberry plants inside two greenhouses covering about 2,600 square meters. An outside there are 700 pots covering an area of 3,800 square meters. Between May and June you can pick indoors at the rate of ¥600/100g. And in July and August you can pick outside on an all you can eat basis Fees: over junior high school student ¥600, primary school children ¥300. For take home berries the fee is ¥300/100g.
