Those interested in Zen have the unique opportunity to attend this free Zen meditation class at a temple. Held for the third time, the class is foreigner-friendly and a great introduction for newcomers to Zen. A Buddhist monk explains the meditation style and guides you through the class, in which you are encouraged to calm down and look into yourself. After the class, tea will be served. Please note: the temple venue can be difficult to locate, so the organizers will provide directions and offer to pick up participants from the nearest station: JR/Nishitetsu Chihaya Station.
