With a history of over 480 years of furniture making, Okawa City is the place to go if you’re on the hunt for quality wooden furniture at reasonable prices. At this annual event, 200 companies from the area will exhibit and sell approximately 10,000 pieces of furnishings from desks, beds, to living room furniture and more at discounted prices. This year, enjoy a special exhibition of locally designed and crafted furniture for cats! Take a look at all the cat-sized beds, sofas and more, or buy one for your furry friend. There are also workshops on woodworking, food stalls and stage events. Finally, be sure to see the displays of kumiko (lattice woodwork), for which the area of Okawa is famous. Fun for the whole family!
