To celebrate the grand opening of this year’s seaside oyster stalls, the Fukuoka City Fisheries Cooperative, Karatomari branch is holding a two day all-you-can-eat oyster event at Umizuri (“Sea Fishing”) Park. The temporary oyster huts will be officially open from Nov. 3~Mar. 30, but you can get in early at this pre-opening PR event! Eat charcoal grilled “Karatomari Ebisu” oysters straight out of their shells, fresh oysters or oyster rice while enjoying all-you-can-drink highball cocktails and beer. You can also add squid, shrimp and other seafoods to your meal at an extra cost, and if you answer a survey you’ll be rewarded with a special liquor gift set! During the event, a free shuttle bus is running between JR Kyudai Kentoshi and Umizuri Park.
Application
Application is required by fax before the deadline of Fri. Oct. 19. Your fax should include your name, address, age, contact number, the date of your attendance and whether you will be using a shuttle bus or not. After Oct. 22, if your application has been successful you will receive a call you to confirm your attendance. Note: you must be over 20 to apply. Event is limited to 100 participants per day.
