Legendary Japanese jazz saxophonist SAKATA AKIRA will play two nights at Fukuoka’s premier live venue NEW COMBO. He will be performing with his trio known as ARASHI with Swedish and Norwegian musicians Johan Berthling and Paal Nilssen-Love. This will be a special opportunity for Fukuoka jazz fans to see one of the world’s best powerhouse free jazz trios in action, live. As an extra special treat for Fukuoka audiences, the trio will be joined by Tokyo musician OTOMO YOSHIHIDE on guitar for the second night of their two-night residency at New Combo.
