Come celebrate the South Asian New Year festival “Baishakhi Mela 2013”, on Apr. 14 (Sun.) in Tenjin Central Park! The event is organized as a collaboration between various Bangladesh and Nepal associations in Fukuoka, and includes cultural demonstrations from both countries, along with an array of delicious ethnic foods to try. The event’s main purpose is to promote South Asian Culture to Japanese society and to deepen relations between the people of South Asia and Japan.
