The Canadian national swimming team, set to compete at the World Aquatics Championships 2025 in Singapore (Jul. 1–Aug. 3), has chosen Saga Prefecture for its pre-competition training camp. The delegation includes 26 swimmers and 20 staff members, totaling 46 participants, among them Summer McIntosh, a triple gold medalist at the Paris Olympics. The team will be in Saga preparing for the swimming events scheduled for Jul. 27–Aug. 3.
On Jul. 21, the practice session will be open to the public for one day only. A welcome ceremony for the Canadian team will start at 10:00, followed by a 30-minute autograph session with the athletes beginning at 10:15.
