Experience the essence of a European winter with Fukuoka’s Christmas Market, an iconic seasonal event. Twinkling lights and festive illuminations set the scene at JR Hakata Station front, where quaint wooden huts line up offering Christmas market specialties such as hot wine, hot chocolate, and twirled sausages, along with sales of Christmas items.
Adding to the atmosphere are live performances ranging from classical and opera to gospel and acoustic music, all elevating the spirit of the venue.
As part of the Fukuoka Classical Music Festival held alongside the Christmas Advent celebration, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra String Quartet will perform on Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025. Two sets are scheduled at 18:00 and 20:00.
