Enjoy a laid back festival held at Kanzeonji Temple in Dazaifu, a place with a strong sense of history in the air. The temple is close to Sakamoto Hachimangu Shrine which is said to be the origin of the new era name “Reiwa”. Grab some craft beer or wine from the outdoor bar, watch the live performances on stage, and admire the cosmos flowers blooming in the area. Stay until sundown for a gorgeous light up of the temple grounds too.
