Todoroki Liquor store is planning to host a wine festival in Dazaifu on Oct. 16 to coincide with the full moon. It will take place on Kotorii-shoji, the street running perpendicular to the main road to Dazaifu Tenmangu. Kotorii-shoji has long been in decline and the men and women at Todoroki Liquor hope that the event will revitalise the area. There will be many varieties of wine, and food stalls along the street. There will also be a display of box lanterns, similar to the ones that can be found at the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.
