Enjoy an exhibition of newly created Hakata Ningyo dolls at ACROS Fukuoka. Many of the items on display have been inspired by the addition of the sacred island of Okinoshima and associated sites in the Munakata region to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The exhibition includes approximately 75 works by both established and young doll-makers, as well as creations by students still learning their craft. A number of pieces are on sale for visitors who might want to pick up souvenirs, including figurines of the Chinese Zodiac.
