Fukuhaku Flower Road & Gardening Show

50,000 tulips will liven up the streets between Hakata Station and Kego Park. This tulip road began in 2011 to celebrate opening of Kyushu Shinkansen, and so this is the fifth year. The peak viewing time lasts until mid-April along the 2.5km flower road along Hakata-ekimae Avenue, Seiryu Park and Tenjin Central Park. A Gardening Show is held at Kego Park between Apr. 4 ~ 12. Flower gardens or baskets made by gardeners or related companies are exhibited and everyone can vote for your favorite in a contest. Cafe corner too. On the weekends, street performances, or workshops of flower arrangement and planting too.
