Startups, investors and business leaders from Fukuoka and overseas will gather in Tenjin for an evening of cross-border networking and business matching. Held as an official side event of RAMEN TECH 2026, the program brings together international startups and key players from startup ecosystems across Asia and beyond, with opportunities for both informal networking and focused business discussions.
Organized by Fukuoka City and Global Business Support (GBS), FUKUOKA CITY, LET’S MATCH! Connect Local, Go Global – Global Business Matching Night is aimed at companies and professionals looking to build practical international connections.
Expected participants include overseas startups and ecosystem representatives from Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, India, Sweden and other markets, along with venture
capital firms, investors and startup support organizations. Around 10 to 15 overseas startups are expected to participate.
An open networking area will give participants space to exchange business cards, make introductions and meet informally throughout the evening. Companies looking to raise their profile will also have an opportunity to take part in a Pitch Session, presenting their businesses to an international audience and potentially opening doors to overseas partnerships and expansion.
For participants seeking more focused discussions, Targeted Matching Booths will provide space for dedicated business meetings. The format is designed to go beyond general networking by helping companies connect with potential partners, investors and other organizations relevant to their business objectives.
The event takes place during RAMEN TECH 2026, a five-day international startup and innovation program held across Fukuoka from Oct. 7 to 11. More than 100 events are scheduled around the city, bringing together startups, companies, investors, engineers, creators, researchers and other ecosystem players from Japan and overseas.
