Find your new favorite Fukuokan thing at this fair! Hakata Marui and the Fukuoka Society of Commerce & Industry are co-hosting this fair, at which you can peruse 150 items from across the prefecture. Try ginger syrup from Chikuzenmachi, invest in gloves made using a special kind of fiber from Kurume City and nibble youkan (sweet bean jelly). There will also be displays of Koishiwara pottery. At some of the booths the product makers themselves will be selling their wares, and keen to chat about what makes these Fukuokan items so special. Take the survey and win a free gift (survey only available to customers). This fair aims to revitalize several industries in Fukuoka – a great excuse to shop till you drop!
