Join Fukuoka International Ballet Festival this summer for a stunning Gala concert guaranteed to delight its audience in the magic of movement. Kyushu-based ballet couple Frank van Tongeren and Machi Muto have invited dancers from world-class ballet companies such as the Berlin State Ballet and the Czech National Ballet to join dancers from the local dance scene, ballet students and a range of musicians to invigorate Kyushu’s ballet through an explosion of creativity. Works by internationally acclaimed choreographers such as Nils Christie and Victor Ullate will feature alongside works choreographed for the occasion by Yuka Nazabal, Chikako Hirata and Frank van Tongeren. Tickets are expected to sell out soon so reserve them as soon as you can!
