This women’s self defence seminar, run by the Fukuoka Prefecture Chuo Police Station, teaches simple but effective techniques for handling situations where your safety is in danger. It helps to build up women’s confidence and awareness while teaching tactics that can stop an attack. This includes: learning how to escape an attacker if grabbed by the wrist, arm, shoulder or neck, learning how to escape if grabbed from behind, plus more general self defence tips. The course is Japanese with English interpretation. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend the course (call to apply – mention “SD Club”). Please wear exercise clothes and easily removable shoes.
