This Hakata Doll exhibition features small dolls that evoke a sense of peacefulness to the viewers. On display are 60 works of Shoji Kajiwara, an award-winning craftsman of Hakata dolls. The motifs of his dolls cover broad genres like samurai, children, and small dolls with warm, cheerful and adorable expressions including cute jizo buddha and animals such as dogs and cats.
