The Ishibashi Bunka Center has the largest rose garden in Fukuoka, with 2,600 roses of more than 400 varieties. The peak season will last for about a month from October. Browse for rose seedlings, watch a potting demonstration, or stop by the market and cafe for refreshments. Live performances too. Enjoy the eye-catching installations made by local artists and local students, which will be set up all around the garden for the Art Festival 2019 (Nov. 2 to Dec. 1). Check out the exhibitions at the Kurume City Art Museum nearby too.
