The 4th Itoshima Citizen Festival featuring both local foods and crafts is this weekend. It’s also the site of the popular “Itoshima Gourmet Grand Prix”, which showcases dishes made from fresh ingredients from Itoshima. This year 22 shops will participate, and ballots will be collected to determine this year’s Grand Prix winners. And don’t miss the multicolored flower fireworks (Hyakka Ryouran) at 19:30 inside Kafuri harbour on Saturday! Shuttle bus information on their website.
