Japan Senses is underway at Iwayata, Fukuoka City, shining a spotlight on domestic manufacturing. The project brings Japanese products together and shares their qualities with the rest of the world. A special Yame-themed boutique called “Unagi no Nedoko” will open for a limited time on the fifth floor (annex) with eye-catching fashionable items such as monpe pants. On the fourth floor (main building), fashion brand Factory will run a special fitting room, while the second floor will sell sake created by local breweries such as Ishikura Shuzo’s “Shiboritate Junmaishu”. Each floor will be joining in, so be sure explore the entire department store!
