Soy sauce manufacturer Jokyu is holding a special event as part of a week-long initiative to express gratitude to their customers. Inside their facility, customers can scoop up as much as two kilograms of miso for just ¥700 and sample new types of soy sauce. In addition, each day, there will be 50 fukubukuro (good fortune) bags on sale (¥1,000), as well as Hiyoko no Yakimochi (¥648) (roasted rice cakes made in collaboration with local confectionery company Hiyoko Honpo Yoshinodo), and sugar candy made with powdered soy sauce called Kona Shoyu Konpeito (¥324).
