LGBTQ and Social Diversity in Asian Art

START: Dec 2, 2019 END: Mar 17, 2020

Starting from April 2018, Fukuoka City began recognizing partnerships of LGBTQ couples. This exhibition introduces the works created by LGBTQ artists through their relationship with society or family, the works that go beyond gender boundaries, and the works that depict the essential diversity of our existence emerging through the multiplication of ethnicity and nationality in contemporary society.
