Watch a goat perform live art this weekend in Tenjin! For the first time in Fukuoka, performance artist Tadashi Nakamura will create surreal stuffed toys by hand, whilst dressed in the disguise of “Mrs. Mary” the goat. The exhibition/live performance is called “Mrs. Mary-go-round”, and is presented across Japan by art/design shop H.P. Deco. Taiwan-born, Tokyo-based Nakamura has been performing his signature style of art, dressed in a goat’s mask, since his debut exhibition in 2008 “Mary’s Odd Fruits”. His concept combines amusement and art and makes for a very original spectacle. Watch the kitschy, surreal animals being produced before your eyes by a live goat artist! The animals are on sale in the store (¥16,000~)!
