Events

Music City Tenjin is one of Kyushu’s largest music events, transforming the entire Tenjin area of Fukuoka into a massive festival venue with special stages set up throughout the district. Centered around the Fureai Plaza at Fukuoka City Hall, the event fills the streets with music. This year marks the first time in five years that the event is being held, featuring performances by artists from both Japan and abroad. Additionally, on the weekends of September 21-22 and 28-29, “Tenjin Showtime” will showcase live performances by local professional and amateur musicians at various locations such as in front of commercial facilities and at station plazas.
