Nerd Nite at the Museum! Nerd Nite Kyushu is a bi-monthly event where people gather to enjoy drinks while listening to talks on various “nerdy” topics. Founded in Boston in 2003, Nerd Nite has since expanded to over 100 cities worldwide. Nerd Nite Kyushu, which began in 2022, is the latest addition, joining other groups in Okinawa, Kansai, and Tokyo.
The next Nerd Nite Kyushu event, focused on fermentation, will take place on Saturday, October 5th, from 18:00 at the Kyushu University Museum in Hakozaki. Three speakers will discuss shochu, wine, and beer, offering insights into this ancient biological process.
A special museum tour is available for pre-registered participants at 17:00, an hour before the event. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
