Acclaimed pianist Nobuyuki Nakashima plays his first solo concert in Kyushu. Having studied composition in both Tokyo and Paris, Nakashima uses the depth and variety of his musical literacy to compose thrilling ensembles. Known as composer and arranger for the works of Naruyoshi Kikuchi, Pepe Tormento Azucarar, UA, Kaori Mochida, Miyuki Hatakeyama and more. Recently, Nakashima participated in Jane Birkin’s world tour as musical director, orchestrator and pianist – playing over 80 concerts in 27 countries. His original score for the Taiga Drama “Yae No Sakura“, will also be broadcast in 2013 by NHK-TV. Coming to Fukuoka, Nakashima performs solo piano at Japan Evangelical Lutheran Hakata Church.
