Olympic Films at Movie Hall Cine-la

START: Feb 5, 2020 END: Mar 1, 2020

Well known for its extensive archive of Asian films, Movie Hall Cine-la is screening a wide range of Olympic related films with a lecture on 2/9 (14:00~14:50) by Adrian Wood. He has been in charge of restoring Olympic films over the last quarter of a century with Robert Jacquier of the International Olympic Committee. In 1930, the International Olympic Committee mandated the creation of recording a film for each tournament. Therefore, each Olympics produced an official yet informal excellent documentary film. This time, cine-la will screen 21 selected films dated running up to the 1998 Nagano Winter Games. Check the Cine-la website for screening schedules.
