Fukuoka City is planning to announce a general city development plan within the year, so this is a chance to express your opinions and ideas with other citizens. Mr. Ikuo Komata, the president of JTB communications Kyushu is organizing the event. He says Fukuoka is a very attractive, unique, international and convenient city unlike any other city in Japan or the world. “I can endlessly list up the positive points of Fukuoka. I predict more and more tourists will come to Fukuoka, however, the main challenge is to entice repeat visitors.” Mr. Komata looks forward to hearing the opinions of the public at the September 9 seminar.
