A special festival will take place along Oyafuko-dori Ave. and inside Nagahama Park to revive the local area. Various clubs and bars initially opened on Oyafuko during the bubble period (1986-1991). This helped create a bustling atmosphere but also raised some safety concerns. In recent years, residents and businesses have been working to create a more peaceful environment for all parties concerned, especially young families living in the surrounding area. Get involved with these efforts by joining clean-up activities in the morning, then relax and enjoy the fun festival-style atmosphere from noon! Grab a bite from the food stalls in Nagahama Park while watching live performances. There will also be a parade with eye-catching dance routines in the afternoon. If you get there early, you might receive a free katsu curry (limit 1,000 persons).
