Bet you didn’t know that high school rugby is particularly strong in Kyushu! This prestigious international rugby tournament for high school students is held in Fukuoka every year during Golden Week. Schools from overseas are invited to represent their country in this competition, and usually each team is among the five top-ranked high school teams in their country. There are both men’s and women’s games, and the George Watson’s College Pipe Band (world champions) will perform once again! There’s also a flea market running on May 4 and 5 (10:00~16:00).
