Sasebo shows why it’s known as a jazz town, with a month of performances by pro and amateur jazz musicians. The festival has been running since 1991, and in 2012 it moved from Huis Ten Bosch to a venue in the center of Sasebo City. This year it’ll happen at Arkas Sasebo, with jazz artists from Japan and abroad including: Takt Project, J & K, Matsuno Takashi TRIO, TOKU Group, and PINK BONGO with Gen Ogimi and Marlene.
