Here’s your chance to kick back to the sounds of talented local performers at an annual charity concert organized by the Fukuoka AJET Charity Committee. Now in its third year, the 2013 “Songs of Summer” concert features acoustic, choral, classical and pop performances by musicians from Japan, the UK and America who are volunteering their time for charity. The show includes a special performance by the Ikkokan Taiko group. All the money raised goes to the Polaris Project, a Japan-based charity seeking to end human trafficking and aid its victims.
