A sake barrel opening festival will be held in Hita City this weekend! Hita is known as a city with excellent water. Three local sake brewers and two liquor brands based in the city will gather to celebrate the release of new sake on the atmospheric yakatabune boats on the river. The venue, located steps from the city’s hot spring district, is a just 15 min. walk from JR Hita Station. Eight food and drink booths will be open until 18:00, so drop by and enjoy this special one-day event!
