Enjoy traditional Japanese music beats at this upcoming taiko drum contest. There will be competitions between taiko drum teams and odaiko (large taiko drum) performances too. Winners will advance to the 11th Taiko Drum Festival in Saitama City on December 8, 2019. The event in Fukuoka will also feature a section for juniors and a special performance by the Japan Marvelous Drummers, a collective that have performed in over 20 countries across the globe.
