A special collection of around 100 treasures from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo will be on display at the Fukuoka City Museum from July to August. The main items featured will be from the Old Kingdom of Egypt, the period when the Great Pyramids were built. Find out more about the pharaohs, female royalty, aristocrats, and the drama that surrounded some of the greatest constructions ever built. There will be various special events taking place during the exhibition run, including night time tours, a free concert by members of the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, special late openings, and gallery talks.
